Salma likes to identify as a creative professional. She is a gifted poet, writer, and award-winning film producer who began her career in Egypt with an independent film production company, where her vision and leadership quickly propelled the company onto the international stage, earning multiple prestigious awards.
She moved to London, working as a Senior reporter at the New Arab Newspaper before she progressed her career in broadcasting Journalism with Alaraby TV network.
Later, she joined the BBC as a radio producer, then moved to lead the BBC Arabic Digital team of breaking news before she joined the BBC Arabic Multimedia Hub as a Senior Journalist.
Her exceptional command of Arabic language and keenness on quality control made her the youngest-ever Output Language Monitor in the service’s history.
Salma has a profound understanding of digital marketing and has worked with several prominent media outlets to promote and deliver media training courses in London and the Gulf.
She excels in crafting compelling narratives and leading creative teams. Through London Media Masters, Salma now focuses on producing impactful documentaries and delivering high-quality media training.
