Maather El Marsafi

Maather El Marsafi is currently the Director of United Media Services (UMS)’s Radio Sector, Egypt and Managing Director of United Podcast (UMS).
Maather has worked back in 1992 as a news radio and TV presenter, in the national radio and television institutions.
She has a short , yet outstanding experience with the BBC radio as she joined the Egypt-based BBC radio during the second Gulf war.
Along with being a presenter, she assumed several managerial positions. Most prominent of which is the Director of Radio Masr, the official national news radio of the Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU) back in 2014.
She has moved to work at United Media Services (UMS) in 2023 as the CEO of Nile Radio, a network of radio stations.
Maather has worked in different national and international journalism, translation and media institutions.
Aside from her media work , she has a long and profound experience in the fields of Public Relations and Marketing as well as working as a media consultant for a few national and international entities.
